Cheltenham to Shrewsbury - Albrighton Hall (86.1 miles)

We enjoy a day cycling north through Worcester, stopping at beautiful Ironbridge, heading towards Shrewsbury for the night.

We rode through amazing countryside with endless fields of yellow rapeseed. PHighlights were lunch by the river in Bewdley and the sensational Ironbridge. Stunning Shropshire we love you!

5 th   May 2022 After an amazing breakfast at Gidleigh Park, we set off on our second longest day! Almost 11 hours on our bikes, covering 162km!!  One of the day’s highlights was passing through the Mendip Hills AONB, a limestone landscape of steep hills, undulating plateaus and grasslands exploding with a rainbow palette of wildflowers.  Cheddar Gorge was breathtaking and pretty steep ..! We went from Devon to Somerset we are ticking off the counties!!!  Tonight we welcome Tors & Andrew to our happy peloton! Tomorrow is “only” 89km, we can’t wait!!!! Leaving Gidleigh Park Along the canal in Bridgewater Cycling up Cheddar Gorge Living the dream! Another climb 🙈 One day at a time 👍🏻
