Bodmin Jail to Gidleigh Park Hotel, Dartmoor (60 miles)
4th May 2022
LEJOG riders always fear the mountains of the Lake District and Scotland and overlook how steep the Cornish roads are!
Today’s ride is one of the most demanding of the trip with a leg-busting 5,000ft feet of ascent. The day rewarded us with quiet roads and picturesque landscapes.
Highs and lows - we LOVED the 18km cycle track through Dartmoor with our path occasionally being blocked by sheep and woolly cows! The hills were certainly a challenge but the landscapes and bluebells were amazing!
